In 1980 two "Jantar Standard" sailplanes were bought. One is still flying today. In this 1984 photo C.Pikros is testing his new gadget: a telecontroled camera with a special stand to be mounted on the wing tip. Telecontrol was by cable, taped under the wing. That was probably the first application of turbulators.
