In Greek language
as printed in the "Air sports" news-letter, 1995
After printing the "Air sports" news-letter for many years, we had enough
material for a directory of all the sailplanes that have been used in Greece.
The "Air sports" news-letter is still printed today (1999) and covers the
interests of Soaring, Hang Gliding and Paragliding. It is not sold, but just mailed to
interested friends of our choice. The news-letter was first published by K. Bousias and
C.Pikros in 1986.
The directory is in Greek language, but contains the three-view drawings and the
specifications of the sailplanes in the original language of the sources. In the last page
there is a list of all the sailplanes that have been registered in Greece after the war.
They are not many (about 40 sailplanes for the 50 year passed), but we had great fun in
them. Sailplanes flying in Greece with foreign registration are not included in this list.
You can bring the pages in small size to be viewed on the screen, or in high resolution to
be printed.

Nowadays you do not find the three-view drawings in sailplane directories any more.
In the late 70ies there used to be a Jane's Sailplane Directory with nice three-views.
Unfortunately it was discontinued.
The "Evolution der Segelflugzeuge" by G.Brinkmann (1992) still has three-views.
Many other directories just have impressive photos, just like car advertisement. Next
decade they will probably add the impressive girls.
